Position Overview

As a Staff Electrical R&D Engineer in our Advanced Technology team, you will play a key role in advancing cable and interconnect assembly innovations. You'll focus on researching, identifying, and implementing emerging technology and market trends, while contributing to the strategic technology roadmap for cable-based products. You'll collaborate with global cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to drive product development forward. This role is based at our Wilsonville, OR facility, and you'll be working alongside team members in Oregon, Minnesota, Ireland and India.

Key Responsibilities :

• Technical Leadership : Technical leadership of multiple advanced technology projects from concept through transfer, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, market trends, and industry standards. Convert customer, market and industry trends into technical roadmap recommendations.
• Innovation & Development : Serve as the team's subject matter expert on cable and interconnect development including analog and digital interconnect design, modeling and testing.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Interface directly with cross-functional team members to ensure successful project delivery. Collaborate with engineers in other global locations. Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables are met and clearly communicated to stakeholders.
• Documentation & Compliance : Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans and qualification reports. Ensure compliance with relevant medical device regulations and quality processes.
• Mentorship : Act as a technical leader, mentoring and coaching junior engineers. Provide guidance and ensure successful knowledge transfer within the team.
