The Opportunity

This position works out of our Plymouth MN location for our Electrophysiology Medical Device division. In Abbott's Electrophysiology (EP) business, we're advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

This is a Planning Manager role responsible for a team of production & supply planners. Production planners manage the day-to-day scheduling at ZFIN or lowest part level for Finished Goods and Subassemblies for all EP US manufacturing. Supply planners maintain Global responsibility for the coordination and execution of product family build plans across full manufacturing network over 24mo horizon. In addition, there may be a portion of master scheduling for TPM and specific EP sites needing support.

The team will achieve their objectives by balancing several dynamic and conflicting elements including cycle time management, inventory management, capacity planning, distressed inventory management, technical challenges, and productivity while maintaining the highest level of compliance and service.
