Security Professional Armed Patrol Aero / Defense

As a Security Professional Armed Patrol Aero / Defense in Canoga Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol aerospace and defense locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide exceptional customer service. You will interact with employees and visitors, responding promptly to any security-related concerns. Pay Rate : $23.91 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards, providing customer service to clients and visitors at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related incidents.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
  • Document and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents observed during patrols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents and / or emergencies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • An active armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
