Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic New Patient Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking care. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that new patients feel welcomed, informed, and connected to the right provider for their needs.

- Hourly pay between $20-$21 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Answer and respond to incoming inquiries from prospective patients via phone, email, or online forms.Guide patients through the intake process, including verifying insurance coverage, collecting necessary documentation, and scheduling initial appointments.Provide compassionate support and information to individuals inquiring about services.Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure a smooth transition from intake to care.Maintain accurate records and update patient management systems.Monitor and follow up on pending intakes and referrals.Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, psychology, or related field preferred.Previous experience in a healthcare, mental health, or customer service setting strongly preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy and professionalism.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling systems - KCPP uses NextGen EHR Behavioral Health Suite - Ranked the #1 best in KLAS Behavioral Health EHR in the USAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion.Looking to interview as soon as possibleKCPP is an equal-opportunity employer.
