Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise on-site staff and lead leasing and marketing activities at the assigned property.
- Manage day-to-day operations to ensure property performance and compliance with goals and objectives.
- Develop yearly operating and capital budgets and monitor impact on NOI.
- Oversee resident relations, lease enforcement, and safety of site occupants; maintain market-ready units.
- Coordinate resident improvements and capital projects; bid, negotiate and manage vendor contracts.
- Ensure property compliance with State and Federal Fair Housing Laws; communicate policies to staff.
- Provide regular reports and maintain knowledge of market conditions and trends.
- Train and mentor office staff to maximize rental income and occupancy.
- Perform regular property inspections and implement maintenance plans as needed.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.Minimum of 3 years as a Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager or equivalent management experience.Must have a valid driver's license.Strong financial management skills : budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment; strong multi-tasking and deadline management.Professional communication with staff, residents, vendors and corporate teams.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Yardi preferred.Willingness to work weekends / holidays when required; travel for training or meetings as needed.Salary and Benefits
