Core Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
Develop and implement people strategies that drive business results across multiple service linesPartner with directors and managers to analyze workforce trends, anticipate needs, and create proactive solutionsLead organizational change initiatives using structured change management methodologiesFacilitate quarterly planning sessions to establish clear priorities and measurable outcomesUse data analytics to identify patterns, predict challenges, and recommend evidence-based solutionsEmployee Relations & Culture Development
Serve as a trusted advisor for complex employee relations matters, conducting thorough investigations when neededBuild programs that reinforce values of serving others, collaboration, continuous improvement, resilience, ambition, and curiosityCreate psychologically safe environments where team members can thriveDesign and implement retention strategies addressing the unique challenges of disability services workChampion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that reflect the communities we servePerformance & Talent Management
Implement systematic approaches to performance management with clear expectations and regular feedbackDevelop career pathways to help direct support professionals grow into leadership rolesCreate succession planning to ensure continuity of careCoach managers on productive performance conversations and team developmentBuild talent pipelines addressing critical shortage areas in disability servicesCompliance & Risk Management
Maintain knowledge of Minnesota 245D regulations from an HR perspectiveEnsure compliance with federal and state employment laws while minimizing riskPartner with quality assurance teams to maintain strong regulatory standingDevelop policies and procedures that protect employees and the individuals we serveStay current on healthcare workforce regulations and best practicesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field5+ years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated business partnership successStrong knowledge of Minnesota and federal employment lawsExperience with HRIS systems and data analytics toolsProven ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalismPreferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Human Resources or related fieldSHRM-CP / SCP or PHR / SPHR certificationExperience in healthcare, human services, or mission-driven organizationsKnowledge of Minnesota 245D regulations and disability servicesExperience with structured operating systems or accountability frameworksBackground in change management and organizational developmentEssential Competencies
