SkyWater is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner 2 . This role is critical in fostering an engaged and productive environment by managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting HR initiatives. The HRBP will play a key role in conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions while upholding company policies and promoting a positive workplace culture. In addition, this role will participate in the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires, and will drive engagement and retention strategies tailored to the needs of a manufacturing workforce.

Responsibilities :

  • Will be the primary HR contact for non-exempt employees, ensuring an engaged and productive workforce.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions, while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Engage in the onboarding process for all employees.
  • Support performance management initiatives, including coaching supervisors on feedback delivery and employee development.
  • Drive engagement and retention strategies tailored to the needs of a manufacturing workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including ADA, FLSA, and EEO regulations.
  • Support training initiatives, including leadership development for frontline supervisors.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and labor regulations.
  • Experience managing employee relations in a high-volume, non-exempt workforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

    The annual salary range for this role is $65,280 - $97,920. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
