The Position :

We are seeking a strategic Total Rewards Manager to oversee Walbec's total rewards programs and support the integration of total rewards into our organization's talent strategy.

This is an opportunity to shape Walbec's total rewards philosophy and structure, which includes t he development of our compensation philosophy, strategy and framework, and identify process improvements within our benefit plan offerings and wellness program, all to drive an improved employee experience.

This role is the subject matter expert (SME) fo r Benefits Management and Compensation Management within our HR system, Workday, and has the opportunity to design the benefits and compensation features within Workday to drive an improved employee experience.

Roles and responsibilities

• Benefits Administration & Vendor Management
• Oversee all benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, FSA / HSA, 401(k), and wellness programs.
• Oversee and administer all leave programs, including paid paternity leave , FMLA, STD / LTD.
• Identify process improvements and enhancements to our benefit plan offerings in order to attract and retain top talent across the organization. Assess effectiveness of current programs and identify opportunities for improvement or innovation.
• Manage the relationship with our plan advisors, including contract negotiations, benefit vendor relationships, renewals, and performance evaluations.
• In coordination with our plan advisor, ensure all benefit plans are administered in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA).
• Lead the annual benefits open enrollment process, including system setup, communications, and troubleshooting.
