Base pay range
$100,000.00 / yr - $180,000.00 / yr
Paygrade Range : $100,000 to $180,000 (Salary based on extent of relevant and applicable experience)

Summary
- This role includes support for all project phases, with a particular focus on detailed engineering. The position will be assigned as the structural engineering lead for projects and will be responsible for coordination and ensuring effective communications with other engineering disciplines.
Reporting
Reports administratively to the Mechanical / Structural Manager.In project structure, reports to the discipline lead engineer and / or the project manager / project engineer.Responsibilities
Research, plan, and design structural solutions for a wide range of industrial facilities.Perform structural analysis and design of complex structures fabricated from steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood, as well as foundations including pile- and soil-supported.Consider environmental loading conditions such as high seismic and / or wind requirements.Review structural shop drawings and supplier data.Interface with suppliers, clients, other engineering disciplines, and designers.Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and supporting calculation packages.Perform QA / QC checking of projects completed by other engineers.Additional duties as assigned.Education, Skills, and Experience
BSc in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience in petrochemical, oil & gas, power generation, or metallurgical / mineral process industries. MSc preferred.Proficiency with structural engineering / design software (e.g., RISA-3D, STAAD).Ability to lead quality management of discipline work processes and deliverables.Knowledge of geotechnical investigations and specification development.Experience in vibration analysis and rotating equipment foundation design is a plus.Strong knowledge of applicable codes (ACI, IBC, AISC, ANSI, ASCE).Strong communication skills and proven ability to lead project execution in a team environment.Previous consulting experience strongly preferred.Experience with site civil design (grading, drainage, stormwater management).Familiarity with site survey data collection and interpretation for design drawings.Certifications & Licenses
Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) preferred or commitment to obtain within one year.Ability to register with NCEES and other states as needed.Eligibility to obtain / hold a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).General Requirements
