Primary duties are to utilize advanced-level engineering skills to contribute to the development and qualification of battery systems, especially low & high-power electronics.

This position requires strong cross-functional communication skills and analytical expertise to help launch new, exciting, and innovative solutions that meet user needs in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Report on cell type warranty rate comparisons
• Report on linking cell teardown warranty findings to supplier
• Highlight differences in cell trends and work with team to collect products and prioritize analysis.
• Act as technical lead with respect to product quality, reliability, user requirements, and warranty information for new product designs and engineering changes
• Validate production data, fix potential gaps.
• BOM Issue Identification
• Propose improvements to data architecture
• Warranty trend tracking : Recommend product collection and analysis
• Social Sentiment tracking : Recommend product collection and analysis
• Report on Cell Quality Trends : Creation of teardown dashboard
• Symptom Code Audit report : Shareout of dispositions in Redproof to Service / RGA to find gaps in process
• Warranty Slide support for NPD and PSE projects
• Triage requests for data summaries of Warranty / Star Reviews
• Manage Battery Fixture data
• Identify errors in battery systems FW data and bring consolidated summaries back to team.
• Error identification in Battery systems
• Act as a subject matter expert in power electronics design for reliability techniques
• Ensure timely failure reporting and lead root cause analysis and effective corrective / preventative actions (FRACA)

Qualifications

New product commercialization processes emphasizing design, manufacturing, quality, test, and / or reliability activities
