This position covers the United States Midwest South, candidates can be located anywhere in the Midwest South area of the country, with Chicago being the preferred location.

The Bakehouse divisions of BBU sells, markets, and distributes baked goods via warehouse delivery to the In Store Bakery and Dairy Case within the retail marketplace and away from home Food Service channels. The Bakehouse team innovates in the Breakfast, Bread, Buns, and Roll categories as well as Sweet Baked goods. Bakehouse covers both the branded and private label space to expand BBU's footprint in the premium, mainstream, and value segments.

Key Job Responsibilities :

• Strategically manage regional supermarket accounts by utilizing category and retailer data to identify trends, market gaps and opportunities for In Store Bakery, and Dairy Case. Grow the brands and private label in alignment with the Bakehouse business plan by executing effective merchandising, assortment, pricing and promotions.
• Develop and grow high-level relationships with key customers in all channels.
• Identify and manage brokers and distributors who collaborate to optimize the business. Establish KPI's and develop a broker scorecard to ensure execution of channel and customer goals.
• Collaborate with executive team members to build an annual business plan with clear objectives. Track progress vs plan and recommend course corrections as needed.
• Direct and monitor trade spending by creating efficient and effective promotions that align with the annual budget, conducting post-promotion analysis and making adjustments as needed to deliver net sales targets.
• Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and broker meetings - must have ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Hire and manage qualified customer executives as needed.
