Security Officer - Front Desk Driver

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Driver in Olathe, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing exceptional customer service while managing access control and supporting a secure environment. Your role includes helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence, monitoring entry and exit points, and collaborating with site personnel. This is a driving position and candidates must meet our driver policy requirements. Pay Rate : $19.77 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Wed 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Thur 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Fri 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification, and maintaining visitor logs as required.
  • Assist with the management of deliveries and shipments, coordinating with staff as needed for proper entry and documentation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, activating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Maintain communication with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and observations.
  • Support a welcoming and professional environment at the front desk, helping to deter unauthorized access and / or activities.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activity, or maintenance concerns according to established protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
