Location : New York, NY

Duties :

Handle litigation related to creditors' rights and financial restructuring

Draft and argue motions including summary judgment, motions to dismiss, and complex discovery motions

Participate in trial preparation, motion practice, and depositions

Assist in resolving business insolvencies involving secured transactions and multi-party disputes

Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas including corporate, tax, labor, and securities

Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

Engage in client-facing work and participate in strategy discussions

Requirements :

2–3 years of experience in commercial litigation, with an emphasis on bankruptcy-related matters

Demonstrated interest in bankruptcy law or prior exposure to restructuring practice

Experience with trial preparation and advanced motion practice

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and balance competing priorities

Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills

Education :

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Strong academic credentials required

Certifications :

Admission to the New York State Bar

Skills :

Excellent legal research and writing skills

Strong oral advocacy and analytical abilities

Familiarity with UCC Article 9 and secured transactions law

Proficiency in managing complex discovery issues

Ability to work in-office collaboratively across legal teams
