Senior Quality Assurance Scientist
Job Description
As a Senior Quality Assurance Scientist, you will support Reagent Manufacturing by focusing on ensuring product quality and compliance within a manufacturing environment. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and compliance of data revisions to instructions for use (IFUs) and change orders related to label revisions, while providing QA support to the reagent manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
Ensure strict adherence to design change procedures, relevant corporate policies, and global regulations (e.g., FDA QSR).
Provide guidance and make decisions to prevent deviations or non-conformances.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, contain, and disposition non-conforming products.
Interact effectively with development, technical operations, and manufacturing personnel to uphold quality standards, minimize rework and waste, and maximize product satisfaction.
Establish and drive daily management actions for quality processes that align with broader initiatives.
Evaluate quality system performance and lead continuous improvement events to enhance process efficiency.
Essential Skills
Experience in laboratory, pH, formulation, and reagent preparation.
Bachelor's degree in science or a related field.
4+ years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
Previous experience with electronic documentation systems, particularly those handling PDF files.
1+ year of experience in a regulated industry.
High attention to detail and critical thinking skills, verified by references.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills.
Experience in continuous improvement processes.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00 / hr.
