Job description
We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and relationship-driven Sales Representative to join our wholesale team. Sales Representative will oversee and grow our accounts across New York City, Brooklyn, and Long Island. This person will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the highest level of service to our wholesale partners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong sales experience, and knowledge of the local market.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing wholesale customers, ensuring their needs are met and orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Develop new business by prospecting restaurants, hotels, cafés, retailers, and specialty food stores
- Conduct regular in-person visits to accounts across NYC, Brooklyn, and Long Island
- Educate customers on our bread and pastry offerings, seasonal specials, and new product launches
- Work closely with the production and delivery teams to coordinate orders and resolve any service issues promptly
- Monitor customer feedback and report insights to leadership to improve product offerings and service
- Track sales goals and meet or exceed monthly targets
- Attend food shows, industry events, and tastings as needed to represent the brand
- Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems regularly
Qualifications :
3+ years of sales experience, preferably in wholesale food, bakery, or hospitality industriesStrong knowledge of the NYC, Brooklyn, and Long Island marketsPassion for artisanal food, bread, and pastriesExceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skillsHighly organized and able to manage a large territory efficientlySelf-starter with the ability to work independently and within a teamProficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office SuiteValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredAbility to lift up to 25 lbs and conduct product tastings and presentationsPreferred :
