HR Generalist-Hybrid

This role will play a key part in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations, with a strong focus on onboarding, payroll processing, employee relations, and transactional HR tasks. To thrive as the HR Generalist, you should have these qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role.Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms.Solid understanding of HR processes and employment laws including compliant Employment Eligibility practices.Basic understanding of accounting practices.PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.Experience in the security services industry, a plus.Familiarity with labor law compliance for CA, NY and TN, preferred.Your responsibilities as the HR Generalist will include :
Onboarding & Offboarding :
Process the onboarding, background research and set up procedures for new hires.Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations, ensuring a seamless and engaging onboarding experience.Prepare and collect all required documentation for new hires and terminations.Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements during the onboarding and offboarding processes.Payroll Processing :
Process semi-monthly payroll in collaboration with the Director of HR.Monitor accurate entry of employee hours, paid time off, deductions, and benefits.Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or employee inquiries in a timely manner.Transactional HR Administration :
Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system.Process employment changes such as promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations.Manage HR documents and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Assist with employee handbook updates and revisions.Complete screening interviews for open positions.Employee Relations :
Support the HR team in addressing employee relations issues, providing guidance to managers and employees.Assist in investigations and documentation of employee complaints, performance issues, or policy violations.Promote a positive workplace culture by supporting engagement initiatives and responding to employee concerns.Apply now and make your mark!
