Payroll Processing
This position is in the Payroll department, within OHSU Finance. OHSU Finance is the division within Oregon Health & Science University charged with the overall responsibility of accurately processing, reporting, and interpreting the university's financial transactions. We support healing, teaching, discovery, and outreach at OHSU by delivering quality financial information and services to the institution, its sponsors, and the community. Under the direction of the Payroll Manager, this role is responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll and timekeeping documents including Federal and State W-4 forms, timekeeping setup form, requests for waivers, requests for verification of employment, unemployment claims, direct deposits. This role is also responsible for delivery of payroll checks, printing of payroll documents including statement of earnings, responding to payroll and timekeeping requests. This position is also responsible for the payroll mail intake, sort and distribution to the appropriate recipients. This position is responsible for providing high level customer service to employees, managers, ex-employees, departments and other applicable recipients regarding payroll and timekeeping items via phone, email and Jira customer service system.
