As a Mortgage Loan Officer you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting clients in navigating the mortgage loan process.
Qualifications :
- Desire for a career path within mortgage industry
- Desire to expand customer service, sales and consultation skillsets
- Desire to work in and expand knowledge of mortgage industry
- 1-2+ years' experience as a licensed loan officer
- NMLS : Must have minimum 1 state active license or currently hold federal registration
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Participating in staff and team meetings along with taking part in mortgage training provided by management.
- Willingness to take ownership of any customer escalation as the situation dictates thus ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Perform outbound calls to prequalified and pre approved customers with a working knowledge of the various campaigns in order to drive a tailored customer experience.
- Able to effectively communicate Mr. Cooper value propositions to customers.
- Able to consult customer on various loan options based off loan product guidelines and customers wants, needs, and benefits.
- Able to understand, communicate, and consult on various mortgage loan program guidelines to customers and consult on the entire loan origination process, through loan funding.
- Field calls from various lead sources with a working knowledge of the various campaigns in order to drive a tailored customer experience.
- Mortgage professionals assist our existing portfolio clients with their home buying and selling needs

This position is primarily a sedentary position performed in an office setting performing tasks at a desk or workstation and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment. The role also involves movement such as sitting, standing, walking and light lifting.
