Job Duties & Responsibilities
Work closely with reliability personnel, technicians, and mechanics to develop root cause analysis / trouble shoot issues.Review customers lubricant applications. Analyze, evaluate, and rectify operational problems and failures.Oversee oil analysis reports for various pieces of equipment. Make recommendations for preventative maintenance and / or corrective actions needed based on the findings of these reports.Maintain professional communication both written / verbal with customers, company personnel, and vendors to provide counseling, recommendations, and technical assistance.Proactively develop needed solutions on existing installations. Assist customers with material changes or modifications of equipment.Assist in bidding, planning, scheduling, executing, and following up on oil filtration and flushing related jobs in the industrial and offshore / marine sectors.Present technical and commercial information to customers and / or management.Prepare reports and recommendations to management.Devise and recommend solutions to problems encountered in job duties.Additional duties as assigned.Skills / Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred.Preferred but not required 2-5 years of experience with rotating equipment and basic engineering principles.Required to have or obtain Oil Monitoring Analyst Level 1 and Machinery Lubrication Technician Level 1.Experience applying lubrication best practices and lubrication program management within an industrial environment.Experience reading P&ID's.Experience applying predictive reliability practices.Knowledge and understanding of lubrication, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance of rotating equipment, gears, seals, and machining applications.Understand ISO codes and applications within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis.Ability to work flexible hours including weekends (as needed) to meet business demands.Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal business communication.Ability to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.Must be able to obtain plant safety clearances.Must possess a valid driver's license.TWIC CardClean Driving Record.Must always be able to follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious.Physical Demands
