We're currently looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager to drive the accuracy of our revenue recognition process, lead a team of accountants, and support the financial reporting of key Topgolf business lines.

About The Role
As Revenue Accounting Manager, you'll oversee revenue recognition for multiple business lines, manage a high-performing accounting team, and ensure compliance with ASC 606 and GAAP. You'll also partner cross-functionally to deliver accurate financial reporting and support audits, process improvements, and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead revenue recognition for partnership contracts, Swing Suite revenue, gift cards, game play, and membershipsManage and coach a team of two Sr. Accountants and one Lead Revenue AccountantAnalyze and review customer contracts for compliance with ASC 606; oversee journal entries to ensure accurate period reportingManage accrual processes for marketing expenses tied to partnerships and mediaOversee accounting processes for the Topgolf Media finance teamReview monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completenessAnalyze venue and corporate transactions for financial accuracy; prepare presentations for leadershipReview payment applications and incoming checks against open invoicesProvide accounting support for approximately 7 venues, including accruals, close processes, and field inquiriesSupport quarterly reviews and annual audits, including schedules and sample requestsPartner with accounting leadership to implement process improvements and strengthen SOX complianceWhat You Bring
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management (Required)CPA designation (Preferred)4+ years of accounting experience, including leadership / managerial roles (Required)3+ years of direct ASC 606 application experience (Required)3+ years of audit experience in public accounting (Preferred)Experience with SEC registrants (Preferred)Experience with SAP (Preferred)Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to research / apply technical guidanceIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word proficiencyStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to train, coach, and develop team membersComfort navigating multiple software and reporting systemsProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and projectsSounds like a fit?
