Associate Attorney

Overview

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood, & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB) is seeking Kentucky-licensed attorneys with experience in General Liability defense to join our Louisville, KY office. This is a role for individuals with 3-7 years of experience who specialize in defending against all types of general liability claims, including premises liability and professional lines such as medical malpractice and assisted living / long-term care. Our team aims to move cases through the legal system effectively while vigorously defending our clients' interests in court.

Base pay range

$100,000.00 / yr - $180,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and preparing summaries of medical records to effectively advocate for clients.
• Drafting motions and attending hearings to represent clients in court.
• Preparing clients for depositions and attending depositions as needed.
• Drafting initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports, trials, and appellate activity.
• Responding to discovery requests and drafting discovery-related motions.
• Regularly attending court appearances to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
• Taking and defending depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses.
