CMM Programmer / Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CMM Programmer / Operator to join our Quality team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Zeiss coordinate measuring machines and be proficient in Calypso software. This role is critical to ensuring dimensional accuracy of precision components and maintaining the highest level of quality compliance in our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CMMs (Zeiss preferred) to inspect complex mechanical and electronic components.
• Develop and modify Calypso programs based on engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements.
• Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on nonconformances and part compliance.
• Support first article inspection (FAI), in-process, and final inspections.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve dimensional issues.
• Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Participate in root cause investigations and continuous improvement efforts related to inspection processes.
• Document inspection results in accordance with internal procedures and AS9100 / ISO requirements.
