CMM Programmer / Operator - Blue Thrusters

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will inspect development and flight vehicle components for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team\'s impact on all aspects of providing accurate data on tight tolerance high value components to determine configuration per engineering designs. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation for Computer Aided Manufacturing inspection by creating data analysis templates using Microsoft Excel.
• Inspection Software Quality Assurance.
• Program, setup and operate Leica laser tracker; Romer arm; CMM; Blue Light; Keyence; Manual Layout.
• Using design data to inspect machined and received components.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Provide feedback to machinists and engineers with dimensional data.
• Document Non Conformance reports as required.
• Provide inspection time estimates.
• Process improvement including inspection cycle time reductions.
• Maintain configuration control on files and job records.
• Safely work within an industrial environment.
