Oversee the development, implementation, and management of online advertising campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads). Collaborate with the marketing team to define advertising objectives, target audiences, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Monitor campaign performance, optimize ads based on data insights, and deliver reports on campaign effectiveness. Manage budgets for social media advertising and ensure campaigns meet ROI goals. 3-5 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred. A portfolio of work is required at time of application to demonstrate ability to present and execute strategy. Innovating attitude and creative spirit Creativity in content development and campaign strategy. Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices. Proficient in using social media management and analytics tools. Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to interpret metrics and make data-backed decisions. Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required for programs and events. Proficiency in graphic design and video editing for social Knowledge of generating sports and fitness content. The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Asphalt Greens social media strategy across multiple platforms. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this role is key to building the companys online presence, increasing brand awareness, and driving engagement with customers and followers. The Social Media Manager will oversee content creation, community management, and performance analysis to ensure the brands voice is consistent and resonates with the target audience. Some after working hours and weekend availability may be required depending on timing for programs, events, and other organizational needs.
This is an in-person position requiring a minimum of four (4) days per week in the office. The fifth day may be worked remotely depending on content and organizational needs.
Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy and Management
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with Asphalt Green's marketing objectives, fundraising goals, and strategic plan.
- Manage and maintain Asphalt Green's social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Threads, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Collaborate with aquatics and sports programs, camps teams and competitive teams to ensure all Asphalt Green affiliated social media accounts align with strategic brand and marketing strategies.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging, high-quality content (text, images, and videos) for all social media platforms.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the organizations presence relevant and engaging.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of External Engagement to use social media for generating press coverage, engaging key media contacts, sharing news updates, and measuring media impact.
