Caterpillar's Electric Power Division (EPD) offers integrated solutions, parts, and services to meet the needs of our various commercial and industrial electric power customers. What You Will Do
Lead and oversee investment activities including acquisitions, venture capital investment and commercial partnerships. This might include supporting due-diligence, negotiation and integration activities.
Effectively communicate insights and recommendations across the organization as needed.
Gather information and assess the market including competitive issues, market dynamics, market service needs and provide insights to EPD and E&T leadership as appropriate.
What You Will Have
Strategic Thinking : Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
Relationship Management : Knowledge of relationship and stakeholder management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with various stakeholders including senior leaders, peers within EPD and across Caterpillar, vendors and investment banks.
Data Gathering & Analysis : Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking : Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Effective Communications : Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Additional Information
This role can be based out of our Irving, Texas or Houston, Texas offices.
This is a part-time role (3-4 days a week)
This role will not offer relocation.
This role does not offer sponsorship.
This role will require up to 25% travel (domestic & international).
Summary Pay Range
$169,320.00 - $253,920.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
