The Receptionist is responsible for handling all calls, meeting and greeting the public and Front Porch employees in a friendly and professional manner, and directing requestors appropriately.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The duties listed below are considered essential to the successful performance of this position, as defined by Front Porch.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned in the future and may also be considered essential to the role :

  • Operates a multi-line telephone console to receive incoming messages. Takes messages accurately, including correct spelling of names and phone numbers.
  • Greets, registers, and directs guests to appropriate personnel professionally.
  • Performs a variety of clerical duties including but not limited to processing and distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail, including USPS, FedEx, UPS, Amazon, and intercommunity mail; logging all incoming medication and contacting the nursing staff or residents for pick up; selling meal tickets to visitors, issuing visitors' passes, daily balancing of the cash box, etc.
  • Conduct wellness checks twice daily, contacting residents who do not set off motion detectors or flip metal mail tabs.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
