Position Overview : We’re seeking a Technical Writer with a strong technical background to create clear and compelling product documentation. This person will play a pivotal role in supporting our Rapid Innovation Center (RIC) and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to effectively communicate complex ideas.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and revise product documentation for innovative, AI-based initiatives, working in tandem with development teams.
• Utilize tools like Markdown, VSCode, Github, and Docusaurus for content creation and management.
• Contribute to content strategy and ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
• Write and edit technical presentations, briefings, and other deliverables.
• Interview technical personnel to gather information for documentation.
• Maintain organized records of work and revisions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to document agile solutions.
• As needed, support the capture and proposal process by researching and gathering technical information for use in proposal development activities. Develop narrative responses to market surveys, RFIs, RFPs, and white papers to present our solution as a winning value proposition.

Working Environment

eSimplicity supports a hybrid work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by manager.

Occasional travel for training or project meetings in the DMV region. It is estimated to be less than 5-10% per year.
