Pilates, perfected.About the roleEach GTHR class is a holistic sensory experience, where clients have a space to move, connect, recharge, and work hard together. GTHR instructors are the heartbeat of our community, and they are the primary drivers behind bringing our brand experiences & classes to life. GTHR Instructors are expected to teach group classes, with the opportunity to take on private clients, as well. Our instructors use elements such as music, lighting, scents, language, and of course expert programming to craft each of our signature classes, while always showcasing their unique magic to bring their individual vision & personal brand to life.What youll do at GTHRDeliver best-in-class pilates instruction to GTHR clients, all while maintaining the distinct GTHR aesthetic, experience, atmosphere, and culture. This includes : Preparing your classes ahead of time, including custom programming following brand guidelinesCustom playlisting to provide an emotional journey within your classProviding hands-on adjustments, modifications, and advancements to clients during classFollowing all guidelines for GTHR classes and private sessionsContributing to studio upkeep as expected of instructors, including wiping down used machines, resetting props, and reporting any machinery or equipment issues to studio leadership. Inspire and energize clients and provide superior, highly personalized customer service at all times, inside and outside class.Act as a GTHR ambassador, including in the studio, offsite at co-branded events, and other fitness / wellness industry opportunities.What you bring to the table1+ years teaching group classes, with a relevant pilates-based teaching certification required. Reformer certification and prior experience teaching on a contemporary pilates reformer is highly preferred.Ability to work independently with the confidence to make decisions, multi-task, and coordinate ongoing plans and people in a time-sensitive environment.Availability for part-time work during non-traditional hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.Eagerness to learn and grow; You should be open-minded and excited to embrace the GTHR method, while continuously evolving in your professional journey.Exceptional hospitality skills : We believe in creating meaningful connections a passion for community building and creating an unforgettable experience for our clients is paramount.Detail-oriented mindset, with an eye for client satisfaction.Friendly, outgoing personality and solution oriented attitude.Ability to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for long durations of time.Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs.Personal passion for fitness, pilates, and womens health.Group Fitness or Training certificationActive CPR / AED CertificationThe perksUnlimited drop-in classesDiscount on GTHR RetailPersonalized development as an instructorAccess to continuing education and growth pathways, including master classes and specialty workshopsAccrued sick pay in accordance with New Jersey state law, as applicable.
