The Architectural and Engineering Coordinator will be a support to the senior project manager and project manager in all aspects of the delivery of a project and program. They will work closely with the external consultants, collectively responsible for all project specific architectural and engineering design, drawings, documentation, and specifications (including architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, and environmental). This individual will need a strong understanding of design aesthetic in order to drive decisions with our vendors as well as work closely with the team.
Required Qualifications
- Some experience in the design, architecture, engineering, or construction industry (3-5 years preferred).
- Basic understanding of construction documents, specifications, and materials.
- Ability to read and understand basic architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Comfortable working with a team and assisting with project coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 8. Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
Education
