About the role
Join our Brookfield, WI team as an Electronics Test and Repair Technician. You will evaluate, troubleshoot, and restore printed circuit boards and electrical assemblies to meet strict quality and performance standards. Success in this position blends meticulous technical problem-solving with a positive, engaged attitude.
What a typical day looks like
- Examine subassemblies, execute unit and fixture tests, and perform PC board repairs.
- Diagnose faults down to the component level using schematics, oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and other test instruments.
- Identify root causes of defects or malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
- Handle high voltages and currents safely and in compliance with procedures.
- Support customers by phone; occasional off-site service calls may be required.
- Follow safety, housekeeping, and clean-up procedures at all times.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent experience.1–3 years of experience in electronics, electrical, or electro-mechanical work.Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and bills of material.Hands-on proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and common hand tools.Computer literacy and strong math / reasoning abilities.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently (occasionally more).Preferred
Direct experience repairing and testing PCBs.Background in a manufacturing or electronics repair environment.Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.Technical strengths we value
