4910 - Sr Cloud Database Engineer

Role Overview

This hybrid engineering role offers the opportunity to work across both on-premises and cloud-based database platforms. You\'ll collaborate with architects, clients, and project teams to design, implement, and maintain robust data solutions. The position requires a strong foundation in Db2-LUW, cloud technologies, and automation practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability and availability of core on-prem Db2 databases (AIX-based).
• Drive hybrid database architecture and cloud integration.
• Develop and maintain Unix shell and Python scripts for automation and maintenance.
• Implement CI / CD pipelines and support zero-touch deployment models.
• Monitor performance using observability tools (ServiceNow, ELK, Dynatrace, DBI).
• Collaborate in Agile / DevOps environments using Jira.
• Apply ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management).

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
