Physical Requirements for Manufacturing Production Employees

1. Standing :

Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift).

2. Walking :

Frequent walking throughout the production floor.

3. Lifting and Carrying :

o Regularly lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.

o Occasionally lift heavier items (up to 75 pounds) with assistance or equipment.

4. Pushing and Pulling :

Use of manual or mechanical means to push / pull carts, equipment, or materials.

5. Repetitive Motions :

Frequent use of hands and wrists for repetitive tasks (e.g., assembling, sorting, packaging).

6. Manual Dexterity :

Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small parts or tools.

7. Climbing :

Occasional use of ladders or steps to reach equipment or storage areas.

8. Visual and Hearing Requirements :

o Sufficient vision (with or without correction) to read labels, safety signs, and equipment gauges.

o Adequate hearing (with or without aids) to respond to alarms and verbal instructions in a noisy environment.

9. Environmental Tolerance :

o Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot, cold, or humid conditions).

o Exposure to noise, dust, odors, and manufacturing chemicals.

o Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Additional Requirements : Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a weld test to D1.2 AWS (American Welding Society, Structural Welding Code - Aluminum)
