to join their team. This role involves installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems at various county sites, along with technical building and grounds maintenance work of a Building Engineer.

Maintaining chillers, cooling towers, heat pumps, HVAC, and well water-cooling systems.Servicing heating equipment, ventilation equipment, boilers, pumps, and related systems.Repairing and replacing refrigeration compressors and system components; troubleshooting electrical components of large refrigeration and AC systems.Brazing ACR copper fittings, using vacuum pump and recovery units for repairs.Repairing and replacing electronic digital control systems; programming building automation controls.Monitoring and performing preventive maintenance on hydronic circuits, boilers, and building access control systems.Maintaining lighting systems, assisting with remote site repairs, and handling specialized building systems such as fire, security, and communication systems.Performing plumbing, electrical, welding repairs, and fire extinguisher maintenance.Managing supply inventory and maintaining records.Performing grounds maintenance, including snow removal, de-icing, and lawn care.Minimum Requirements :
High school diploma or GED.EPA 608 Type 2 Refrigeration certification; NATE Core certification preferred.Four years of HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance experience.Valid Montana Driver's License and passing background checks.Additional info :
Work involves physical activity in various weather conditions, including work in detention cells and exposure to health hazards. Must be able to operate snowmobiles, vehicles, forklifts, and other equipment. Some work outside normal hours and on-call duties are required.
