The Container / OpenShift Architect designs, implements, and manages Red Hat OpenShift container platforms for enterprise clients, focusing on scalability, security, and high availability. Key responsibilities include architecting OpenShift clusters, establishing containerization strategies, developing CI / CD pipelines, ensuring compliance, and providing technical guidance for cloud-native transformations. This role requires strong experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, related infrastructure, and excellent collaboration and communication skills to drive successful container adoption.
Responsibilities :
- Architecture Design : Design and implement end-to-end OpenShift solutions for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Platform Implementation : Lead the installation, configuration, and tuning of OpenShift clusters, including namespaces, networking, storage, and security policies.
- Containerization Strategy : Develop strategies and standards for containerizing applications and platforms, aligning with business needs.
- DevOps & CI / CD : Define and implement automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or other CI / CD tools.
- Integration : Integrate OpenShift with enterprise systems, such as monitoring tools, identity providers, and existing CI / CD pipelines.
- Security & Compliance : Ensure the OpenShift environment meets security and compliance requirements, including configuring role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Collaboration : Work closely with development, QA, and product management teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of containerized applications.
- Technical Leadership : Act as a trusted advisor, providing technical direction, documenting architecture decisions, and transferring knowledge to client and internal teams.
- Migration Strategies : Assess legacy systems, perform gap analysis, and develop strategies for migrating applications to the OpenShift platform.
Required Qualifications :
