Senior Principal Multi-Disciplined Electrical Engineer

Overview

Raytheon's Electrical Engineering Department in Portsmouth, RI, is seeking an Engineer capable of leading a project team of electrical engineers in analog, digital, mixed signal, configurable logic or power design. The ideal candidate would possess project team leadership skills including cost and schedule management, plus proposal writing and presentation experience.

Location and requirements : Onsite role in Portsmouth, RI. This position requires a DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. This role is 1st shift and 100% on-site in Portsmouth, RI.

Security : DoD Clearance – Secret. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

What You Will Do

• Lead projects for both development and production.
• Earned Value management.
• Work with operations and supply chain.
• Some travel to integration sites, customer and subcontractor facilities in support of IPT and Program activities, may be required.
• Drive adherence to program plans and schedules, accurately measure and report progress, identify potential problems in time for corrective action, and ensure the delivery of contractual commitments.
• Close management of design completion while balancing performance with the ability to meet customer schedules.
• Regular review of program status including tracking and reviews by Engineering and Program Leadership.
• This is a 1st shift, on-site role based in Portsmouth, RI.

Salary range : 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match, and other standard programs. Specific benefits depend on the business unit and whether a collective-bargaining agreement applies.
