Supervisor - Laboratory

Description

Monitors the daily operation and staffing of the phlebotomy / processing staff, providing technical support, consistent training and quality assurance programs assuring appropriate collection procedures and processing methodologies are followed. Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety; environmental and infectious control standards so that the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies.

Required Qualifications :

• Associate's Degree in Sciences or related field Or equivalent work experience in the laboratory setting
• Upon hire : Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification
