Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location Irving, TX 75061 | Onsite

Compensation & Schedule

  • $26+ BOE
  • Monday–Friday, regular business hours
  • W2, full-time
  • Start date : ASAP

ROLE IMPACT

The Accounts Receivable Specialist ensures timely and accurate processing of incoming payments, credit card transactions, and customer account adjustments. This role directly supports Sales and the Controller by maintaining clean financial records, resolving customer discrepancies, and adapting to evolving business demands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and reconcile incoming payments, including credit cards, wires, and digital payment platforms
  • Support order entry, invoice application, and credit memo processing
  • Perform weekly cash reconciliation and assist with month-end closing activities
  • Partner with Sales to resolve customer issues related to pricing, freight, and past due accounts
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams on PUF payments and customer statuses
  • Assist with audit preparation, including pulling BOLs and sales invoices

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of AR or general accounting experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

    • CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

  • Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required)
  • Microsoft Outlook and Word
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP system

    • PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Initiative-driven with strong problem-solving ability
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
  • Comfortable interfacing with sales teams and external customers
