We show up every day and give it our all; not because we have to, but because we want to.## ## POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for gaining exposure to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design concepts, estimating and construction basics. Supports the Commissioning team members on projects. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Pre-Design Phase Assists Commissioning Team with takeoffs or verifying quantities / amounts of commissioned equipment or systems. Design Phase Assists with construction drawing reviews, O&M documentation, maintenance records etc.
- Learns sizing, layout and coordination requirements of relevant MEP Systems.
- Assists with gathering pre-functional checklists.
- Assists with assembling and following the commissioning plan. Utility Analysis and Interviews
- Assists with collection of utility data and building benchmarking.
- Assists with compiling the interview questionnaires into a formal document. Construction
- Assists on site observation visits. Occupancy & Operations Phase
- Assist in compiling the project final report.
- Assists and takes part in Owner Training of commissioned systems.
- Assists in collecting equipment data and compiling in the equipment inventory list. Analysis Phase
- Assist in compiling the project investigation report. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Structural, Civil or Construction Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Construction Science or Management or equivalent.
- Knowledge of MEP and construction terminology and procedures.
- Analytical, Problem solving and decision-making skills.
