Join us as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at US Renal Care, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care to patients with renal failure as part of a dedicated healthcare team. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN), you will be actively involved in providing essential treatments and support.
Your Responsibilities Include :
- Patient Care : Interact directly with patients to ensure they receive safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment. This involves gathering vital statistics, initiating and monitoring treatments, terminating procedures, and collecting blood samples as directed by physicians.
- Technical Responsibilities : Ensure the highest standards by preparing and maintaining hemodialysis equipment, including thorough cleaning and disinfecting after treatments, and conducting safety checks to meet quality control standards.
- Adherence to Safety and Quality Protocols : Utilize necessary safety measures, including personal protective equipment, while following all protocols, policies, and applicable laws under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. Participate in mandatory staff meetings and ongoing education to enhance your skills.
This position is for our Adel Clinic, located at 701 N. Hutchinson Ave, Adel, GA 31620.
What We Value :
High school diploma or equivalent.A passion for healthcare and a commitment to patient care.Previous experience in healthcare roles such as dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is advantageous.Comfortable with the preparation of necessary solutions according to protocols.Able to distinguish all primary colors.Additional Requirements :
Completion of our USRC training program approved by the Medical Director within 8 weeks of hire, demonstrating competency in hemodialysis theory and practice.CPR certification is required within 90 days of employment, as mandated by state regulations.Certification as a Patient Care Technician must be obtained through a state or nationally recognized program within 18 months of hire and maintained thereafter, per state requirements.Ready to Make a Difference?
