This is a highly professional position that works directly with the Operations Management Consultant Manager to update and maintain all of the Bureau of Health Care Practitioner Regulation's professional licensure applications. This position works independently and collaboratively to create, edit, and maintain official DOH documentation, such as applications, forms, and desk guides with a high degree of accuracy. This includes maintaining online versions of applications, as well as auditing online applications for errors and inconsistencies. Both paper and online applications must be maintained and edited concurrently to stay in compliance with legislation and other changes as requested by the board offices.
This position also works on requests / special projects from the Bureau Chief which may involve reviewing or updating data in our licensing database. The incumbent may also be asked to assist the Telehealth Team or other board offices when necessary.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include the ability to review and edit documents for spelling, grammar, consistency, formatting, and context, with meticulous attention to detail. The position also requires the ability to learn Florida Statutes and Board and Department rules governing licensing and regulation of professionals and facilities. Communication skills, organizational skills, self-motivation, and proficiency with Microsoft Office software are also necessary. The position requires the ability to learn and utilize job-specific software such as LEIDS, VersaOnline, and AxiomPro and office equipment such as phones, fax machines, scanners, and copiers. Additionally, the ability to compile, organize, and analyze data, provide consultative assistance to others, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with others is required.
