This role can be based in Denver, CO, Sterling, VA, San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Santa Clara, CA, Quincy, WA, Columbus, OH, Reno, NV, and Atlanta, GA.
In this newly created role, the Manager, Public Policy Regulatory Affairs, North America will support the company's engagement with state and regional regulatory bodies to advance energy infrastructure policies and projects, including for generation and transmission, to support the expansion and success of digital infrastructure across the United States. This role focuses on advocacy, relationship-building, and external engagement in regulatory and permitting forums especially those involving environmental approvals, land use, utility planning, and large-load interconnection. The Manager will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to help secure timely approvals and shape policies that enable project success.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience successfully navigating complex permitting and regulatory environments, building trusted relationships, and working cross-functionally to move innovative energy infrastructure projects forward. This is a public-facing affairs role, not a technical analyst position; but the ability to understand regulatory topics and partner with subject matter experts is essential for the role's success.
