Key Responsibilities :

Safely operate Acme Gridley automatic machines.

Load machines with material bars and initiate machine operation.

Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet conformance and quality standards.

Learn to make machine adjustments to maintain consistent part quality.

Follow safety protocols, including use of PPE such as hearing protection, slip-resistant shoes, and eye protection.

Maintain a clean and organized work area in a potentially oily and dirty environment.

Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills.

Required Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of machine operating experience.

Hands-on experience with Acme Gridley machines.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to work in a hands-on, industrial setting.

Experience in a dirty work environment.

Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.

Physical ability to :

Occasionally lift 20 to 50 pounds.

Frequently lift 10 to 25 pounds.

Constantly move objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Basic understanding of automotive mechanics and manufacturing environments.

Work Environment :

Oily and industrial environment with exposure to mechanical equipment.

Safety equipment (hearing protection, safety glasses, slip-resistant shoes) required at all times.

Strong team-based culture with an emphasis on results and continuous improvement.
