Leadership Development And Training Specialist
The Department of Children and Families' Workforce Learning and Development Team within the Office of Quality and Innovation seeks an energetic, highly organized, critical thinker with background and experience in training and leadership to serve as a Leadership Development and Training Specialist. This position is responsible for the planning, coordination, delivery of leadership and professional development training programs and academies across the state. This role supports both in-person and virtual training offerings and ensures high-quality learning experiences for all participants. This position is also responsible for supporting staff that participate in their program's career ladder. This position requires routine travel throughout the state.

Knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices in professional development; Ability to plan and manage multiple training events simultaneously with attention to detail; Ability to adapt training content and delivery methods to diverse audiences and learning styles; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and team members; Capacity to analyze feedback and evaluation data to improve future training sessions; Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation; Public Speaking; Delivery of Public Presentations; Performance Improvement / Quality Concepts; Information Gathering; Data Analysis; Active Listening; Critical Thinking; System Evaluation; Coordination / Management of Personal Resources; Ability to demonstrate, model and reinforce the agency's values, partnerships, quality, accountability, teamwork, and integrity; Ability to work independently; Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; Ability to communicate effectively.
