Summary
Administration of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, maintenance of employee records, payroll administration, benefits, employee relations, company policies and development of employees.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for keeping track of employee records (personal, medical, training, attendance, payroll).
- Responsible for benefit management including open enrollment.
- Process timecards and payroll in GSS and ADP time and attendance.
- Assist employees with HR related questions.
- Administer new employee orientation.
- Provide consistent disciplinary action when required.
- Assist employee with concerns (safety, benefits, vacation, harassment issues)
- Recruiting / Onboarding
- Responsible for communication of new or revised company policies
- Organize training and development
- Organize engagement events
- Responsible for monthly random drug screenings
- Administer annual reviews with Shop Supervisors
- I-9 management
- Manage, review and dispute any issues with Uniforms
- Responsible for training recordkeeping
- Responsible for claims management including STD / FMLA / WC and tracking.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Supervisory Responsibilities
While this position has no direct reports, it does have oversight on the HR activities.Job Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.Experience with ADP (Workforce Now) a plusExperience with an ERP system – Global Shop Solution (GSS) a plusProficiency in Microsoft ProductsWhat we offer :
