Operations Manager

Responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources and managing an organization to achieve and maintain operational excellence.

Principle Accountabilities :

• Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels. Will directly manage three production managers.
• Oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate KOI.
• Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints.
• Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
• Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
• Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
• Report to Senior Management team in weekly operations reviews.
• Coach and mentor Operations team.
• Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Job Requirements :

Education : Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training. A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.

Experience : Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of manufacturing operations experience, from high-volume, highly regulated manufacturing companies e.g., medical devices (ideal) or automotive, or similar. Experience must include staff supervision (including disciplinary and hire-fire) of production managers, and dynamic, proactive, engaged management style. Must have background in Kaizen and / or Lean practices.

Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois) $104,400.00 USD - $143,600.00 USD Annual
