Commercial Roofing Service Sales
We are currently seeking a B2B Sales Professional with experience in or strong knowledge of commercial roofing to join our expanding Sales team supporting Service Operations. This role plays a vital part in growing our service offerings across key Florida markets, including :
- StarCare service agreements
- Contracted roof repairs
- Emergency and disaster response services

Core responsibility for executing high-level organizational sales strategies and market growth plans as it relates to NAR's service businessCalculate square footages and geometrical properties of buildings to produce an accurate estimate of material costs. Calculate estimates for service projects.Analyze job information and recommend appropriate design given requirements of governing bodies.Develop knowledge of roofing system specs from our major manufacturers and product lines available. Remain current on the latest requirements and on industry technology and market trends.Create personal business plan to direct activities to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goalsEffectively manage client expectations through sales process from service program development to service implementation and fulfillmentExecute daily follow-ups on open contract repair, StarCare and service proposals and address customer objections or concernsProactively prospect and develop accounts by cold calling and utilizing social media, emails and face to face meetings.Identify and network with decision makers of existing national or regional accounts to secure all business opportunitiesArrange meetings with relevant decision makers to review maintenance and service opportunitiesDocument all sales activities in Sales CRM to measure performance and update leadership on progressPrepare and present presentations to prospective clients, enlisting the assistance of leadership as neededNegotiate and close on opportunities following the guidelines approved by leadershipWork with the Service Operations Team to problem solve any issues that may arise during the relationship with clientOther assignments as needed or requestedSkills and Experience Needed for Success :
High School Diploma or equivalent3-5 years B2B experience with a heavy emphasis in selling maintenance plansExperience with Microsoft Office productsStrong skills in relationship building, presentation, problem solving, prospecting and closingAdept at managing client expectations through the sales process from program development to service implementation and fulfillmentAbility to clearly communicate and negotiate in challenging sales situationsAbility to achieve productivity goals as outlined by organizational metricsWorking Conditions :
Must be able to perform work in a hybrid environment (including office, rooftops, customer spaces and warehouse)Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions ranging from extreme cold to extreme heat and other inclement weather circumstancesMust be able to carry, set up and climb extension ladders to reach building heights of 20' + / -Must be able to climb a ladder or stairs to get onto a rooftop to conduct a meeting with a customer.Must be able to wear a full body harness when necessary for fall protection.Repetitive finger / hand / forearm motion necessary for completing data entry. Ability to manipulate keyboards, telephone keypads and copy equipment are essential.May have multiple hours working on a computer and / or phone and viewing data on a computer screen.Travel required as needed, both locally and overnight up to 75% dependent on customer needs and visits to site / customers by car in assigned area. May assist out of area as needed which may require traveling by plane.
