Lutron has an immediate need for a Managing Editor within our Communications department. We’re seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Managing Editor to orchestrate our content creation process from concept to publication. You’ll establish editorial calendars, ensure consistent quality across all platforms, and mentor writers while maintaining Lutron's distinctive voice. Working collaboratively with creative and marketing teams, you’ll synthesize feedback, refine content strategy, and deliver communications that embody the precision and elegance that define our brand.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain editorial calendars across multiple platforms, projects, and campaigns
• Oversee content creation workflow, ensuring quality and timely delivery
• Guide writers in translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives
• Edit materials for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with Lutron's voice and tones
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to ensure unified messaging
• Establish and enforce editorial standards and best practices
• Identify opportunities to repurpose and optimize content across channels
• Manage content review processes with stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Conduct regular content audits and performance analyses
• Foster and maintain a culture of creativity through the craft of feedback
