Our client, a leading organization in the construction and data center industry, is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to join their safety and project management team supporting onsite construction activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, aligning successfully with the organization.
Compensation
Location : Northlake, IL
Pay Range : $77-85 / hourly
Responsibilities
- Walk construction sites to observe ongoing activities and ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Review and support the development of MSOWs (Method of Statement Work) and safety reports.
- Monitor safety compliance and report incidents promptly and accurately.
- Assist in safety training and promote a safety-first culture among workers.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in health and safety management within construction or project environments.Experience with retrofit projects or ground-up construction is beneficial.Certifications such as ASP, CSP, CHST, or a bachelor's degree in safety or a related field.Strong electrical safety knowledge and project management skills.Ability to influence and work effectively with diverse teams.Benefits & Perks
