The Director of Catering & Conference Services is responsible for leading the catering and conference service operations to ensure the successful planning, coordination, and execution of meetings, events, weddings, and social functions. This role requires a strong leader with a keen eye for detail, a commitment to service excellence, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. The Director of Conference Services will work closely with Sales & Marketing, Food and Beverage, and Operations to ensure each event exceeds client expectations while meeting profitability goals.

Requested Tasks :

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Catering & Conference Services team.
• Develop and implement departmental goals aligned with hotel sales and revenue targets.
• Coach, mentor, and manage a high-performing team; oversee recruitment, training, and development.
• Oversee the planning and execution of all group events, meetings, banquets, weddings, and conferences.
• Ensure all client needs and event logistics are clearly communicated and executed to standard.
• Collaborate with culinary and banquet teams to design menus and floorplans.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, event planners, and vendors.
• Resolve guest issues and ensure client satisfaction before, during, and after events.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, event details, and billing.
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
• Participate in hotel leadership meetings and contribute to overall property strategy.
