Job Summary
Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) is hiring a Student Services Analyst. This position works within the Admissions and Records Department, is responsible for performing professional-level student services work, which requires independent evaluation and analysis of issues and judgment to select and apply standard techniques, procedures, policies, and criteria to resolve problems and make recommendations.

National Student Clearinghouse Processing
(30%)
A and R Graduation Responsibilities
Assures that graduation supplies, diploma covers, cords, etc. are maintained at an adequate level
Provides athletic eligibility support to Student Life
Researches and assists in analyzing and interpreting Policies and Procedures
(30%)
In partnership with the division Leadership Team, coordinates workflow for employees
Provides support to staff for more technically complex issues
Provides daily processing updates to employees (as needed)
Advisement and A and R function for these students is included
(10%)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of full-time equivalent student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs.
OR
Associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution and four (4) years of full-time equivalent student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs.
An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
Desired Qualifications
A. Two (2) years of experience working in a team environment
B. Two (2) years of experience working with multi-cultural student populations
C. Two (2) years of customer service experience with a high degree of public contact including, but not limited to in-person, telephone, e-mail, text, and / or chat.
D. One (1) year experience working in higher education student services I.e. advisement, counseling, admissions, procedures including, online Student Information System (e.g., PeopleSoft) and working with federal and state requirements (e.g., lawful presence / residency determination)
E. One (1) year of experience working in an educational environment providing support services in higher education.

Additional Considerations :
Providing coverage at off-site locations and the ability to pass a fingerprint clearance process may be required (i.e. WestMEC).
